Henry Phillips of President Blinds will be taking part in the Bluebell Walk on Sunday 9th May to help raise money for Harris HospiceCare. This year they are hoping to raise more than £25,000 for expanding services. This will help purchase the Flowtron Hydroven 12 produced by Huntleigh Healthcare. This is an intermittent pneumatic compression system.

If you wish to sponsor Henry please contact President Blinds; or to take part in the Bluebell Walk please contact Harris HospisCare or download an Entry Form here

The Flowtron Hydroven 12 System is the ultimate dynamic intermittent pneumatic compression (IPC) system. IPC therapy is designed to assist blood and fluid flow which has been inhibited by impairment or injury. By applying compression to a limb via specially designed garments, blood flow is increased and extracellular fluid is cleared. IPC mimics the natural physiological mechanisms of the pumping action of muscles to return fluid back into the vascular and lymphatic systems. IPC is safe, non-invasive and simple to use. Flowtron Hydroven Therapy Systems are designed to treat a wide variety of vascular or lymphatic conditions including venous ulceration, localised oedema following trauma, dependent oedema, lyphoedema, muscle wasting or weakness and fixed flexion deformities.

Toby Lane contract kitchen -
London Borough of Tower Hamlets

PRESIDENT BLINDS LTD were pleased to be involved with the new high-tech commercial kitchen built and commissioned by the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. President Blinds' brief was to isolate the sterile areas of the kitchen from the pick-up areas for Meals on Wheels and School Meals. This was successfully carried out using PVC Vented Strip Curtains which had to be free-standing with no weight-loading on the suspended ceiling, therefore the structure had to be designed and manufactured to accommodate this requirement. This unique installation was completed in December 2008 prior to the grand opening early in 2009.
